Job Description:
This position is responsible for learning and helping of the programming and operation of our Okuma CNC lathe and mill to manufacture rifle components. Requirements:
- National Institute for Metalworking Skills, Machining 1 and Machining 2 certifications preferred.
- Hands on programming, set up and machining of 3axis mill, multi spindle lathes, and help in the development of machining processes.
- Ability to setup, operate and maintain world class, state of the art CNC for our firearms manufacturing. Including various firearms parts and pieces along with future research and development of new products including rifle stocks and chassis.
- Cares about product quality.
- 3+ years experience with 3 axis CNC machining preferred.
- Eexperience with CNC lathes and mills preferred.
- Familiar with CAD/CAM software like Solid Works and Esprit preferred.
- Tooling and fixture set up and design experience preferred.
